Notes - James Francis Bearce, 79, Kansas City, Mo., died February 23, 1995, at his home. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, at Meyer Blvd. United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice or the charity of your choice. Mr. Bearce was born January 7, 1916, in Sedalia, Mo. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Keystone Sunday school class, UMM, Golden Heirs of Loma Vista Baptist Church, Spofford Volunteers, P.A.C.E.M., A.A.R.P., and Sears Retirees. He was a former boy scout leader and member of Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was a WWII Navy veteran and member of naval reserves. He was preceded in death by his mother, one stepdaughter and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Bearce, of the home; a daughter, Joyce Merideth, Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Charles Bearce , Orem, Utah; a sister, Vera Potter, Kansas City, Mo., five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
