Pecos (SC) – Mrs. Effie Breen, 77, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday in Reeves County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with burial in a Pecos cemetery.
Mrs. Breen was born in 1892 at Union City, Tenn. She has been a Pecos resident since 1915 and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband George Breen; two sons, Roy Breen of Scottsdale, Ariz. and George Breen Jr. of Fritch, and four grandchildren.
