    • Canaday services held
      Funeral services for Bob L. Canaday, formerly of Emporia, who died last Tuesday in Lake Jackson, Tex., were held Monday afternoon in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They were conducted by the Rev. James O. Leffingwell, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The organist was Mrs. Robert Plummer and the pallbearers were Lee Coleman, Jim Smith, John Senn, Robert H. Martin, Robert O. Lowry and Dale E. Wright. During the graveside services in Memorial Law Cemetery Denzel Duncan and Warren Pyle, representing Ball-McColm Post 5 of the American Legion, folded and presented the flag.
      Out-of-town relatives who attended were Messrs. And Mesdames Ted Miller and Frank, Everett and Charles O Arney, Kansas City, Mo.; John Canaday and Messrs. And Mesdames John D. Canaday and J.W. Walkinshaw, Independence, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Downey, Memphis Tenn.; I.D. Arney, Everton, Mo; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Arney, Kansas City, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Coleman, Bartlesville, Okla, and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Williams, Madison.
