      New Westminster – Funeral service for Harold Culter, 57, of 408 Sixth avenue, well-known B.C. lumberman and resident of New Westminster for 33 years, will be held Thursday, 3 p.m., in Queens Avenue United Church, with Rev. W.B. Willan officiating. Cremation will follow and S. Bowell & Sons have charge of arrangements.
      Mr. Culter, who was born in Norton, Kas., died Monday in Royal Columbian Hospital. He was lumber buyer for the Canadian Wood Pipe & Tank Co. until he was taken ill last August. Prior to this position he was connected with the Hammond Cedar Co. at Hammond, B.C. as sales manager.
      He was an active member of Queens Avenue United Church and also connected with the New Westminster Horticultural Society of which he was a past president.
      Surviving are his wife, Helen, Member of the Royal City School Board and head of the community Chest; one daughter Mrs. L.G. Weir, Seattle; a grandson and stepson, Gerry, at home; also twin brothers Paul in Minnesota and Raymond in Missouri
