Arkansas City, Kan. Services for Alva L. Kinney, 63, line supervisor for Kansas Gas & Electric Co., here, who died Monday, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Jess Rindt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be the the Peotone Cemetery, Viola.
Born in Alva, Okla., Mr. Kinney lived in Wichita most of his life, moving here in 1952. He was a founder of the Arkansas City Quarterback Club and was a director of the Kansas State Bowling Association.
Survivors include his widow Gladys; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Stables, Mrs. Norma Landon and Mrs. Marilyn Wyndall of Wichita, a brother F. E. Kinney, Wichita.
