  • Notes
    • Marjorie Grace Dalton, 102, of Lompoc passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

Marjorie was born in Los Angeles, California on January 1, 1916. She met the love of her life, Harold Dalton, while in Junior High. They later married in 1936 and welcomed two children. Marjorie and Harold moved their family to Burbank and then to Manhattan Beach. There, Marjorie ran the Sunday School at South Bay Christian Church and was on the Manhattan Beach Coordinating Committee. To be closer to grandkids, they finally settled in Lompoc. Marjorie loved painting, sewing, feeding the birds, working in the garden and her daily walks in the park with Harold. She loved watching her grandkids’ sporting events, dance recitals, scrapbooking all of their achievements and volunteering at Christmas Cheer. Marjorie will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Harold Dalton. She is survived by her daughter Susan Wilcox of Lompoc and her son, Daniel Dalton of Torrance; her three grandchildren, Kim & her husband Craig Chambers of Wailua, Kauai; Marshall & his wife Jana Wilcox of Bend, Oregon; Ashlee & her husband Patrick Cinco of Carlsbad; six great-grandchildren, Dalton & Mackenzee Chambers, Canyon & August Wilcox, Noelani & Finlee Cinco, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at the Lompoc Cemetery on Friday, July 20 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Comprehensive Care Center, 216 North Third Street, Lompoc, CA 93436.
