      Nampa – Doris W. Paschal, 81, of Nampa, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1990, at a Nampa hospital.
      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 1990, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jim Hardenbrook, pastor of the Caldwell First Christian Church will officiate. Private family burial will follow in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery.
      Doris was born on June 5, 1909, at Monument, Kan., a daughter of Edward and Mary Comstock. At a young age she moved with her family to Clarkston, Wash., where she was reared and educated. She graduated from Clarkston High School and later graduated from Lewiston Business College, at Lewiston. She then came to Nampa where she was a legal secretary for Earl Garrity and later for Frank Kibbler. She later moved to Mont. Where she worked for the FBI and from there moved to Los Angeles where she went to work as a secretary for a law firm. She married Ralph Clark Paschal on Nov. 3, 1952, at San Bernardino, Calif. They made their home in the Los Angeles area. They retired in 1974, and moved to Caldwell. In 1973 they came to Nampa to make their home. Mr. Paschal died on Feb. 19, 1989, and she had resided in Nampa since.
      Doris was a member of the First Christian Church.
      Survivors include two sisters, Pauline (Mrs. George) Asselin of Nampa and Elsie (Mrs. Chet) Mosier of Eagle; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
      The family suggests that memorials may be made in the Hope House, 11461 Lone Star Rd., Nampa, ID 83651 or flowers may be sent.
      Friends may call Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Alsip Funeral Home.
