      West Chester, Iowa – Dewey Coffman, 76, West Chester, died Tuesday at Washington County Hospital, Washington, Iowa.
      Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Sherman-Eden Funeral Home, Washington. Burial will be in West Chester Cemetery.
      Visitation is at the funeral home.
      He was born in West Chester. He married Anna Simmering in 1922 in Washington. He later married Georgia Statler in 1945 in Kahoka, Mo. She died in 1974. He was a retired farmer.
      Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Raymond Gerdes, Ainsworth, and Nancy, Washington; sons, Max, Bettendorf, and John, Maquoketa; seven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lela Becker, Osage.
