Notes - Watson – Sarah. Age 84, of 732 W. 18th, passed away in her home this morning. She was a native of Iowa, resident of San Pedro past six years. She is survived by her daughter Margaret Hugoboom of San Pedro; one son, Clifford Boyd Watson, Inglewood, Colorado; one brother, John McCollum, of Nebraska; two sisters, Catherine Hawkins, of Nebraska and Mrs. Margaret Weaver of Indiana. She also leaves two granddaughter, Mrs. Catherine Langert, San Pedro, Mrs. Elenor Roth of Colorado; three grandson, Earl E. Hugoboom, Harbor City, and Floyd W. Hugoboom, Grants Pass, Oregon, and Hugh Watson of Colorado; nine great grandchildren. Announcements will be made later by the H.R. Halverson Mortuary.

The 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910 and 1920 census gives Sarah's birth place as Canada.
Her father's obituary states his arrival from Ireland to Canada and then to the United States in 1864, so it is very likely that Sarah was born in Canada just before their arrival in the United States.
Her obituary gives birth place as Iowa which would have been where she grew up.
