- Virginia Maxine Weaver age 92 of Miami, Florida passed away Sunday morning, December 20, 2015 at her home.
She was born November 8, 1923 in Clymer, Pennsylvania daughter of the late David Earl and Margaret (Bartlebaugh) Clemenson.
On October 20, 1951 she married Earl K. "Doc" Weaver in Grosse Point, Michigan. He preceded her in death January 22, 1994.
She resided in Harper Woods for many years. She and Doc loved wintering in Florida for many years and Virginia eventually made Florida her fulltime residence.
Virginia retired from the Ford Motor Company following 30 years of dedicated employment as a switchboard operator.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and loved traveling throughout the world. Virginia and Doc were avid boaters and were members of the Clinton River Boat Club and the Detroit Power Squadron.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews including: Leslie (Bruce) Dewey of Havana, Florida and Adrienne (Dominick) Calautti of Miami, Florida; great nieces and nephews: Erin Dewey, Michelle Calautti, Erik Calautti, Jenna Schroeder and Dylan Arnold; great great niece: Cora Schroeder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: LaVerne Dix and niece: Renee Arnold.
A graveside service and burial will take place at 9:00 A.M Monday at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. The Rev. Dennis DeMott of the First Baptist Church in Sturgis will officiate.
