    • Woman Pioneer Is Dead At 83 Years
      Mrs. Rachel Barden to Be Buried Here Next Monday
      Mrs. Rachel Barden, 83, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M.C. McDonald, 105 Aylmer avenue. Despite her age she had been hale and hearty until a short time ago when her illness began.
      Mrs. Barden came of pioneer stock. She was born in Mitchell, Ontario, where her family was one of the first to settle. All her life she had been a staunch supporter of the Presbyterian Church.
      Funeral service will be held from J. Sutton and Son’s funeral parlors, 521 Ouellette avenue, Monday morning at 10:30 with interment in the Windsor Grove cemetery.
