Notes - Kirkhart, William Kent, 82 – resident of Santa Fe for the past 22 years, passed away Saturday afternoon at St. Vincent Hospital following a sudden illness. Mr. Kirkhart is survived by his wife: Mary, two brothers: Dale and wife Betty of Perry, Okla., and Robert and wife Lela of Enid, Okla., sister-in-law; Mrs. Mabel Hubbert of Lucien Okla., nephew Mr. Morris Besgrove and wife Modena of Santa Fe, and numerous nephews and nieces. Mrs. Kirkhart was a member of American Legion Post No.1, the Masonic Lodge in Perry, Okla., was on the official board of St. John’s United Methodist Church, and past president of The Methodist Men’s Club. He had retired in 1954, and was a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association. Mrs. Kirkhart was a veteran of WWI, having served in the U.S. Army. Remains will lie in state from 3:00 P.M. today at Berardinelli Mortuary. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at St. John’s United Methodist Church with Rev. McReynolds officiating.
