Notes - Kirkhart, Mary F., 86, a resident of Santa Fe for the past 30 years, previously of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital early Monday morning. Mrs. Kirkhart was a very active member of the Methodist Church, was an Official Board Member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Santa Fe, a member of the United Methodist Women, was very active in the American Legion Auxiliary and was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was a retired elementary school teacher, having retired in Santa Fe. She was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Kirkhart on March 13, 1976. She is survived by nieces and nephews: Morris E. Besgrove and wife Modena of Santa Fe, Betty Scarlett of Enid, OK, F.A. Van Scyoc and wife Dorothy of Enid, Marilyn Myerpeter and husband Bill of Florida, James G. Fraizer Jr and wife Carried of California, and Joybelle Robinson and husband Bill of Enid; one sister-in-law: Pauline Fraizer of Enid, OK and numerous great nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. today at Berardinelli Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted in the Rand Chapel at St. John’s United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Those who wish to honor Mrs. Kirkhart with memorial may direct them to the St. John’s United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are through Berardinelli Mortuary, 1399 Luisa St., 983-4331.
