    • Married. Thursday evening, June 17, 1897, at 8:00 p. m., Albert R. McKeown and Miss Carrie A. Nantz were united in marriage by Rev. Simon, at their future home, No. 407 South Sixth St., Burlington, Iowa. The bride was attired in white organdie trimmed in lace and ribbons and wore bride's roses. The groom wore conventional black. A few relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony and extended congratulations. Quite a number of beautiful and useful presents were received by the worthy couple. Mr. McKeown is well known to many of our readers who will join in congratulations.

    • Mrs. Carrie McKeown passed away at her home in St. Joseph, Missouri. Carrie Nance (sic) was born in Burlington, October 9, 1876, was married to A. R. McKeown in 1897, and about twelve years ago, the family moved to St Joseph, where the husband is employed in the railroad service. Deceased is survived by the husband and one child, the mother, and the following sisters: Mrs. N. T. (sic) Smith, of Texas; Mrs. E. Wells, Mrs. J. W. Zurmuehlen and Mrs. Henry Klem (sic), of this city. Many friends will hold her in affectionate remembrance.
      The arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.

    • Mrs. Carrie A. McKeown, wife of Albert R. McKeown, died at her home, 1017 Green street, St. Joseph, Missouri, Wednesday evening (July 25, 1917), at 8 o'clock.
      She was a member of. Spruce street Methodist church, where an Impressive service, was held Thursday afternoon, and the remains arrived here at 4:15 this morning and the funeral services will be held at 2205 South Main street, at 9:30 this (Saturday) morning.
