Morning Sun-Mrs. Roy Marohn, 64, a former resident of Morning Sun, died Aug. 6 at her home in Spokane, Wash. She was the former Alice McKeown, and was born on a farm near Mediapolis on June 28, 1885, the daughter of James and Eva Bandy McKeown. The family later moved to a farm in the Morning Sun vicinity. Surviving are her husband, Roy Marohn; a son, Ralph Marohn, USAF, stationed in Germany, and a daughter, Mrs. Albert Griggs, Spokane. Also surviving are a twin sister, Mrs. Carl Fladt, Mediapolis; another sister, Mrs. Conrad Caster, Morning Sun, and 2 brothers, Roy McKeown, Pasadena, Calif., and Ralph McKeown, Morning Sun. Funeral arrangements are pending.
