Lexington – Dorothy Holbein, 76, of Lexington, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with the Rev. Larry Viter officiating. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the chapel in Lexington. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell.
Memorial are suggested to Cozad Home Health, the Lexington Fire Department or the Diabetes Association (visually impaired).
She was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Arapahoe to Clifford and Cassandra (Bathrick) Tull. She grew up in the Arapahoe area and graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1938.
She was married to Harold E. Holbein on Aug. 16, 1942 in Eustis.
They lived in the Eustis, Cozad and Gothenburg areas. She was a Tupperware dealer for 10 years. Her husband died May 11, 1986. Following his death, she moved to Lexington and resided there until her death.
She was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Cozad.
She is survived by sons, Steve, Lexington, and Randy, Gothenberg; daughters, Marilyn Sabin, Lexington, and Carol Wagner, Gothenberg; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, ne granddaughter and one brother.
