    • Doris T. Billesbach
      A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for Doris T. Billesbach, 83, of Santa Maria. The Rev. George Mackey will officiate. Cremation follows with private inurnment in the Memory Gardens of the Dudley-Hoffman Columbarium.
      She died of natural causes April 7, 1997, at a local hospital.
      Mrs. Billesbach was born Nov. 9, 1913, in McCook, Neb.
      She was a resident of Santa Maria since 1977, formerly of Santa Barbara from 1960-1988.
      Survivors include her daughters Corylyn K. Gettman, Judie Talbert, and Marsha Thayer of Santa Maria; son John A. Billesbach of Santa Maria; brother Edward Schiable of Rock Springs, Wyo.,; sister Carol Loker of Dodge City, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
      Mrs. Billesbach was preceded in death by her husband Max L. Billesbach April 4, 1990.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 104A E. Boone St., Santa Maria, CA 93454.
