- Joseph M’Keown Dies; Funeral At Billings
Billings – Funeral services for Joseph McKeown of Billings, 50, who died at Springs hospital in Enid early Saturday morning will be held Sunday afternoon in Billings. The Reverend Dyed, Baptist church pastor at Billings, will direct the services at 3:30 o’clock in the Methodist church. Interment will be in the Billings cemetery.
Representatives of the I.O.O.F. will be in charge of a part of the burial service.
McKeown’s death occurred following a long illness. He had lived in Billings and vicinity for the past 37 years, having been an oil field worker in the Three Sands field and in the Garber and Billings area.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Flora McKeown; six children, Mrs. Agnes Roberts of Manahans, Texas, Ray McKeown of Plainvlle, Kan., Mrs. Vera Dalrymple of Hunter, Dorothy, Howard and Thelma Ruth of the home address. Also there are two brothers, Pete and Frank McKeown of Billings.
The Miles Funeral home of Ponca City is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
