      A.J. Parker and wife went to Wichita to consult a physician in regard to Mrs. Parker's illness.

    • Mrs. A.J. Parker died at her home in Clearwater, Saturday night, of stomach trouble. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence in Clearwater. Mrs. Parker leaves a husband and three children to mourn her loss. Mrs. Parker was the daughter of Henry Shores, of Goddard, and was quite well known both there and in Clearwater, where she had many friends.

    • Mrs. Lettie Parker, wife of A.J. Parker, died on the 28th and was buried on the 30th in the Clearwater cemetery. She leaves a husband, three children and many friends to mourn her death. Rev. D.I. Howard conducted the funeral services.

    • Lettie R. Parker was born in Andrews county, Mo., Nov. 11th, 1866, died in Clearwater Nov. 28th, 1903. She was married to Judson S. Parker Dec. 30th, 1885. To the union three children were born, Alvas, aged sixteen years, Iva, aged ten and Leroy aged six, all living to mourn with their father the loss of a kind mother.
      She removed with her parents to Kansas in 1872. At the age of fifteen she was converted and united with the Baptist church at Goddard, afterward uniting with the Baptist church as this place of which she remained a faithful member until her death. She was a faithful wife and kind mother and the family have the sympathy of the entire community in their irreparable loss.
      The funeral was conducted at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. D.I. Howard and the remains, followed by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends, were laid to rest in the Clearwater cemetery.
      Wm. Parker and wife, of Valley Center, and Mrs. Cutler, of Norton, attended the funeral.
      The deceased was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shores.
