    • White Cottage Resident Dies In Hospital
      James Howard Thompson, 83, of near White Cottage, died at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bethesda hospital after a two year illness.
      He was formerly a carpenter but since his retirement had operated the family farmstead near White Cottage. He was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian church of that vicinity.
      Surviving are a brother, Fred, of New Concord; five sisters, the Misses Maggie, Mary, Ella and Ethel all of the home and Mrs. Anetta Cusac of Dresden.
      The body is at the William Thompson and Son funeral home where friends may call after noon today and will be taken to the residence Tuesday morning where friends may call in the afternoon and evening. It will be returned to the funeral home Wednesday morning for services at 2 p.m. and burial will follow in Woodlawn cemetery.
