Notes - Shirley Eloise Gilroy, 72, of Perry died Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. The cause of death if unknown, pending results of an autopsy. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, and burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilroy was born in Lohrville and also lived in Cooper before moving to Perry in 1973. In 1985 she moved to Georgia, returning to Perry in 1988. She was a homemaker and member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are her husband, Victor; two sons, Steve of Augusta, Ga., and Dennis of Cedar Falls; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, 9 am. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home, where the family will meet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
