    Ralph L. Bearce, 69, Fullerton, died Wednesday at Mary Lanning Hospital, Hastings. He had been an insurance salesman in Kansas City before retiring to Fullerton three years ago.
    Funeral rites are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian church, Fullerton, with Rev. James Hawthorne officiating. Visitation hours at the Fullerton Memorial Chapel are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today. Mrs. Bearce will be buried in the Fullerton Cemetery.
    Born Oct. 14, 1907 in Page County, Iowa, he was the son of Frank and Christina (Dugan) Bearce. He married Bethel Hadfield Oct. 27, 1942 at Fullerton and spent most of his life in Kansas City.
    Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion, Nance County Historical Society and the Presbyterian Church.
    He is survived by his wife; mother, brothers, Harold and Francis; sister, Vera Potter, all of Kansas City.

    Vera Bearce Potter, 95, of Kansas City, MO passed away June 5, 2005. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, also at Mt. Moriah. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to a charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Potter was an active member of Loma Vista Baptist Church and their Golden Heirs club. She taught in the Center School District for 31 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Center Retired Teachers and was a past member of the Paseo Area Senior Center. Vera also formerly participated in activities of the Delta Lamb Center and Shepherd Center. Vera was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Potter in 1973. She is survived by son Donald Potter and wife Virgie of Grayslake, IL; daughter Christina Reed and husband Bob of Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.     Harold D. Bearce, 72, south Kansas City, died Sunday in a nursing home at 621 Carondelet Drive. He was born in Blanchard, Iowa and had lived in Kansas City since 1928. Mr. Bearce was a warehouseman for the National Weather Service for 25 years and retired in 1973. He was a member and elder of the Grandview, Mo., congregation of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Eunice E. Curtis Bearce of the home; a son, Harold L. Bearce, Topeka; a stepson, Blair E. Curtis, Atlanta; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley M. Nelson, a Brother, James F. Bearce, and a sister, Mrs. Vera Potter, all of Kansas City; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Muehleback Chapel; burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Bearce, of the home; a daughter, Joyce Merideth, Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Charles Bearce , Orem, Utah; a sister, Vera Potter, Kansas City, Mo., five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
