    Lester H. Fay
    Lester H. Fay, 69, former resident of the Rogue valley, where he conducted a plumbing business, died while visiting in Visalia, Calif., yesterday morning, according to friends here. His home was in Tracy, Calif.
    He was born July 14, 1888. He lived in this area during the 1940s, and was married to the former Elizabeth Thomas of Phoenix, Ore. She preceded him in death.
    Survivors include a daughter, Gratia Van Den Huebel, 1626 Walnut st., Alameda, Calif.; two sons, Lester Fay Jr., who lives in Florida, and Thomas Fay, Klamath Falls; and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at Hadley’s Funeral home in Visalia, Calif. Date and time for services has not been set.

    Visalia, Tulare Co. – Funeral services for Lester Fay, 69, of Tracy, San Joaquin County, were held in the Hadley Funeral Chapel last night with the Rev. David McMartin of the First Presbyterian Church officiating.
    Fay, who died Monday, was a retired plumber. He was in Visalia for a week’s visit. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gratia Van Den Heuvel of Alameda, and two sons, Thomas of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Lester, Jr., of Florida.
    The body will be cremated in the Chapel of the Light in Fresno.

    Fay Funeral Rite Slated Saturday
    Funeral services for John (Jack) Frederick Fay, 26, 330 S. West Temple, who was electrocuted Tuesday while at work on the new veterans’ hospital at Fort Douglas, will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at 36 E. 7th South.
    Mr. Fay was killed when a boom hoist swung into a high tension power line, sending an electrical charge through to a cement bucket supported by the hoist and which Mr. Fay was holding.
    Friends may call at place of services Friday and Saturday prior to funeral. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial park.

    Survivors include his widow, Frances Holland Fay, Salt Lake City; his father, Lester H. Fay, Klamath Falls, Ore.; two brothers, Lester H. Fay Jr., Miami, Fla.; Thomas Kay, Klamath Falls, and a sister, Mrs. A.H. Van DenHeuvett, San Francisco, Calif.
    Friends may call Friday and Saturday at the place of funeral.
