    Obituary
    (contributed)
Clara Nighswonger was born at Viola, Kansas, Oct. 18, 1889, and died at Blackfoot Jan. 10, 1917, aged 17 years 2 months, 22 days. She was united to Troy Cox in this city, Nov. 23, 1916. This happy home was soon overshadowed with affliction, and after a brief illness, the physicians and nurses with the loved ones did all that could be done, death came to relieve her from suffering.
At an early age she was converted and united with the Baptist church in Kansas. She lived a beautiful Christian life until her death is the testimony of those who knew her well. She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, father and mother, six brothers and four sisters and many friends here and elsewhere.
The funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Roy Cox were held at the M.E. Church last Sunday afternoon, in the presence of a large congregation of mourning friends. Rev. C.P. Johnson conducted the services and there was special music by a quartette. – Gooding Idaho News.
