    He was born September 20, 1890, in Mediapolis, to Oscar and Lilly Percial (sic) Davis. He was a retired farmer.
    Surviving are six sons, Marvel and Melvin, both of Burlington, Oscar, Phoenix, Arizona, Sheldon, Norwich, Connecticut, George, Grands (sic) Pass, Oregon, and Marshall, Denver, Colorado; four daughters, Mrs. Phyla Dochterman, Burlington, Mrs. Clarissa Hester, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Mrs. Lee Meacham, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Lilly Hillson, San Antonio, Texas; 34 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
    Services for Mr. Davis will be at 10:30 a.m.. Saturday at Sheagren Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery, Mediapolis.

    Mediapolis (IA) -- Mrs. Reva E. McKeown, 81, for the past five years a resident of Turtle Creek Convalescent Center, LaSalle, Illinois, died Saturday, March 21, at Illinois Valley Community hospital, Peru, Illinois.

    She was born near Mediapolis September 15, 1899, to Samuel Oscar and Lilly Mae Purcell Davis. She married William Stanley McKeown in December of 1920.

    Surviving: Two sons, Lewis Stanley, Wilton, and Roger, Sioux City; daughter, Phyllis Graff, Utica, Illinois; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lewis Davis, Burlington.

    Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Fry Chapel, Mediapolis; Kossuth Cemetery.

Born June 15, 1915, in Huron Township, Des Moines County, Iowa, Phila was the daughter of Lewis and Inez Charbonneau Davis. She attended Huron School. She married Harold Dawson and later married Orville Dochterman October 2, 1976 in Burlington. Phila professed her love for God at an early age and never wavered from that love. She owned and operated a nursing home in Burlington for many years, giving care with great compassion to all those whom she cared for. Phila volunteered most of her adult life and during this time received several Governor Volunteer Awards from the State of Iowa and several Des Moines County Human Service Volunteer Awards. She had worked for the IAAP Plant in Middletown, Des Moines County Home, Black Hawk County Home in Waterloo, St. Francis Care Center, and Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Survivors include her husband, Orville; one daughter Evelyn Schulz of Mediapolis, IA; one step son, Jim Dochterman of Holland-Patent, NY; five step daughters, Judy Jones of La Harpe, IL, Susan Lemon of Sarasota, FL, Mary Fickel and Barbara Kelley, both of Burlington, and Elizabeth Walsh of Evansville, IN; three grandchildren; nineteen step grandchildren; two great grandchildren; fifteen step great grandchildren; four brothers, Marshall Davis of Littleton, CO, Sheldon Davis of Norwich, CT, Melvin Davis of Las Vegas, NV, and Marvel Davis of Burlington; three sisters, Lily Mae Hillson of San Antonio, TX, Iola Meacham of The Village, FL, and Clarissa Hester of Chagrin Falls, OH; plus many nieces and nephews.     Muscatine, Iowa – Services for Lewis S. “Mac” McKeown, 69, will be 2 p.m. Monday at George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eliza Creek Cemetery, Eliza, Ill. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and World War I Barracks.
    Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Sunday. He died Thursday at his home. He owned and operated M&D Transport, Wilton.
    Mr. McKeown married Clara “Dolly” Fuller in 1946 in Norfolk, Va. During World War ii, he served in the Army. His memberships included American Legion, Wilton; and VFW, Muscatine. A memorial fund has been established.
    Survivors include his wife; daughters, Connie (Mrs. Ronald) Kopf and Karen (Mrs. David) Courtois, both of Muscatine; and Melissa (Mrs. Patrick) Jolly, Fort Polk, La.; a son, Stanley, Romeo, Mich.; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; a step-granddaughter; a sister, Phyllis (Mrs. Richard) Graff, Peru, Ill; and several nieces and nephews.

    Robert William McKeown, 62, 3505 Pierce St., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 1990, at his residence of cancer.
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with the Rev. Laurence Burns officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today with an evening service at 7 p.m. in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
    Mr. McKeown was born June 26, 1928, at Wapello, Iowa. He married Evie Winnike June 5, 1951, at West Point, Iowa. The couple moved to Sioux City in 1954 from Iowa Falls, Iowa. He worked for more than 34 years as a pharmaceutical salesperson for the A.H. Robbins Co. and had been their northern Iowa representative since 1956. He was recently retired.
    Mr. McKeown was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He served in the Navy Submarine Division for two years.
    Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tracy of San Diego, Calif., and Patrick and his wife, Leatha, of Coto de Coza, Calif.; a daughter, Chris McKeown of Sioux City; a brother, Lewis McKeown of Muscatine, Iowa; and a sister, Phyllis Graff of Peru, Ill.
    Pallbearers will be Rick Martin, Larry Nebesnaik, Doug Cramer, John Campana, Steve Link and Dave Hogue.
    A memorial has been established in his name with Blessed Sacrament Grade School.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 10 at Grace United Methodist Church, La Salle, followed by a service with Rev. Jennifer Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery.

    Micki was born in Wapello, Iowa, on September 19, 1931, to Stanley and Reva (Davis) McKeown. She married Dwaine E. Irwin on September 10, 1950, living with him in Mannon, Illinois, until he passed away on September 5, 1957. She married Richard E. Graff on January 17, 1959. She and Richard moved to the Illinois Valley in 1975 from Jacksonville, Illinois.

    She was a devout woman of God and a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She was the treasurer for many years, loved singing in the choir, and was very active in the church. She was a matron of the Eastern Star, den mother to both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She and her husband spent a great deal of their retirement years volunteering. They were involved with the United Way Labor of Love projects, Meals on Wheels, and as grounds keepers at the La Salle County Historical Society Museum. She worked as a secretary at the Morgan County Court House, La Salle Machine, IVCC, and Ying Tai.

    She and Richard enjoyed traveling and they went to Europe, Canada, and much of the United States. She was a huge history buff and enjoyed spending time at Civil War and Revolutionary War sites. She loved spending time with her grandkids, reading and sewing.

    She is survived by her husband Richard, two sons Peter (Cheryl) Irwin of Willow Spring, North Carolina, and Dean Graff of Dalzell, Illinois, two daughters Lydia Irwin (Sidney) Marlow of Independence, Missouri, and Dawn Irwin (Dean) Tieman of La Salle; seven grandchildren Erika (Rich), Bob (MaeLee), John (Kayla), Nick, Katie (Mike), Kyle, and Danielle, six great-grandchildren Alex, Cambree, Abby, Connor, Elliotte, and Cecelia.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dwaine, two brothers Roger and Stanley McKeown, a son Gregory Irwin, and a great-grandson Parker Redmon.

    Micki was much loved by her family and friends. Well known as a kind, funny, caring lady, she touched lives wherever she went.

    Christine "Chris" Lynne McKeown was born June 6, 1952 in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Roger and Evelyn (Winnike) McKeown. She graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City, Iowa. Chris ran a 2nd Hand Store in Akron, Iowa and later was employed at Hawarden Motors in Hawarden, Iowa.

    Chris liked to swim and loved pets. She enjoyed watching the Olympics and talking on the phone with her many dear friends. After her mother Evelyn retired, they enjoyed traveling together to many destinations.

    Chris is survived by her fiancé and longtime companion, Kenny Ludwig; Kenny's children, Kevin and Lisa; her brothers, Tracy McKeown and Patrick McKeown; nieces and other relatives.

    She was preceded in death by her parents.

    Mr. Irwin was killed in an automobile accident in Clear Creek Canyon near Golden, Colo.

    Graveside rites were held Tuesday, July 29th at Eliza Creek Cemetery at Eliza, Ill.
