  1. 1.  Kenneth Earl McKeown was born on 29 Jul 1910 in Superior, Nuckolls County, Nebraska; died on 7 Jan 1997 in Greenville, Green County, Tennessee; was buried in Andrew Jackson National Cemetery, Greeneville, Green County, Tennessee.

    Notes:

    Kenneth was the son of Ross Arnold McKeown and Winifred E. Fitzgerald McKeown. Grew up in Superior Nebraska and went west during World War II and was in the Army. After the war he made his home with his wife Almeda Elizabeth Black in Southern California. They married on June 8, 1938 in Superior Nebraska.
    Kenneth was a wonderful builder and craftsman all his life.
    Kenneth and Almeda met at the Superior Hotel Cafe where Almeda worked and at the time Kenneth drove a Laundry truck and delivered their uniforms regularly. They spent much of their life in Morro Bay, California. After retirement they moved to be close to their daughter Patricia. First to Louisiana, then to Florida and finally settled down in Tennessee where they lived next to Patricia and her Husband David Sumner Boyd and their five children. They had a breeding quarter horse farm. They both passed away in Bulls Gap, Tn near Greeneville Tn in the home of their daughter peacefully in their sleep. Kenneth in 1997 and age 86 and Almeda (always) called Sally, as a nickname who passed away in May of 1998. Kenneth enjoyed good health his entire life
    until he was found to have a brain tumor, he passed away in less than 90 days at his daughters home. Graveside service was conducted at Andrew Johnson Military Cemetery in Greeneville, Tn. on Jan. 11, 1997. Almeda was buried along side him. She passed away on May 31, 1998. They had a wonderful life and were happy and loved each other very much throughout their lives. They were wonderful Parents and Grandparents and are missed very much. Kenneth had one sister, Edith Joy McKeown Blackstone, who passed away in Durango Colorado where she spent most of her married life.
    Almeda had one Brother Charles Alden Black, whom she was very close to. He passed away in Reno, Nevada. Edith Joy never had children.
