    Miss Elizabeth J. Thomson, aged 49, died at 9 o’clock Tuesday night at the home of her father, R.G. Thompson, of near White Cottage, after a year’s illness, due to anemia. She was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian church. The father, five brothers and five sisters survive. They are R.C. of Canal Winchester; Arthur G. of White Cottage; James H., Fred, Herman, Maggie, Mary, Ethel and Ellen, all of the home, and Mrs. Anna Cusic, of Darlington. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

    R. Cameron Thompson, 75, a lifelong resident of Muskingum county, died at his home near White Cottage early Saturday following a years illness from a heart ailment. He was a retired farmer.
    Surviving the deceased are five sisters, Maggie, Mary, Ella and Ethel Thompson of the home, and Mrs. Armour Cusac of Frazysburg; and three brothers, Howard of the home, Arthur of White Cottage and Fred of New Concord.
    Funeral services will be conducted from the William Thompson and Son funeral home at White Cottage Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Rev. M.S. McMillan will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

    Miss Maggie L. Thompson, 85, of near White Cottage, died Thursday in Good Samaritan hospital after an illness of more than two years.
    She was born and raised on the farm where she lived until her death. She was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian church of White Cottage.
    She leaves four sisters, Mary, Ella and Ethel Thompson of the home, and Mrs. Armor Cusic of Frazeysburg Rt.1, and a brother, Fred Thompson of New Concord.
    Services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the William Thompson and Son funeral home in White Cottage. Rev. Alvin Kintner will officiate. Burial will be in Wesley Union cemetery, near White Cottage.
    Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.

    White Cottage Resident Dies In Hospital
    James Howard Thompson, 83, of near White Cottage, died at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bethesda hospital after a two year illness.
    He was formerly a carpenter but since his retirement had operated the family farmstead near White Cottage. He was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian church of that vicinity.
    Surviving are a brother, Fred, of New Concord; five sisters, the Misses Maggie, Mary, Ella and Ethel all of the home and Mrs. Anetta Cusac of Dresden.
    The body is at the William Thompson and Son funeral home where friends may call after noon today and will be taken to the residence Tuesday morning where friends may call in the afternoon and evening. It will be returned to the funeral home Wednesday morning for services at 2 p.m. and burial will follow in Woodlawn cemetery.

    Miss Mary B. Thompson, 91, of White Cottage died at noon Wednesday (Oct. 11) at Shields Nursing Home at 1966 Normandy drive where she had been a patient since early June. Her condition had been serious a month.
    She was born Jan. 30, 1876, near White Cottage, a daughter of Robert G. and Nancy Glasgow Thompson. She had lived all her life in the White Cottage vicinity.
    Miss Thompson was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church.
    She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Armour (Nettie) Cusac of Frazeysburg Route 1; two nephews, Neill Thompson of White Cottage and Max Thompson of New Concord.
    Friends may call at William Thomson and Son Funeral Home in White Cottage 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
    Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Arthur Cupp officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Union Cemetery.

    G.A. Thompson Called By Death
    G. Arthur Thompson, 74, of White Cottage, a retired farmer died at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at his home following an illness of five months.
    Before becoming a farmer, Mr. Thompson was engaged in the livery business in Breman.
    He was a member of the White Cottage Church of the Brethren where he had taught the Men’s Bible class for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Maysville Boosters Farm Council.
    Surviving are his widow, Bertie; one son, Neil of White Cottage; two grandchildren, Marvis and Barlen of White Cottage; two brothers, Howard of White Cottage and Fred of New Concord; and five sisters, Margaret, Mary, Ethel and Ellen Thompson of White Collage and Mrs. Armour Cussac of near Dresden.
    The body was removed to the William Thompson and Son funeral home in White Cottage and was then returned to the family home Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home with Rev. Ivan Fausnight officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham cemetery.

    Herman S. Thompson, 52, a lifelong resident of Muskingum county died at midnight Monday at his home three-fourths of a mile north of White Cottage, after a three-days’ illness of pneumonia.
    Mr. Thompson was born, reared and died in the same house. He was a farmer by occupation and had many friends who will be shocked by his death. Surviving are his father, R.G. Thompson, and the following sisters and brothers: Misses Maggie, Mary, Elizabeth and Ethel Thompson, R.C. and J.H. Thompson, at home; Mrs. Armour Cusac, of South Zanesville R.F.D.; G.A. Thompson of White Cottage and Fred Thompson of Utica. William Thompson, funeral director of White Cottage, is a cousin.
    Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Thompson is in charge.

    He was a member of College Drive United Presbyterian Church.
    Surviving are a son, Max L. Thompson of New Concord; two sisters, Miss Mary B. Thompson of White Cottage and Mrs. Annette Cusac of Frazeysburg; and four grandchildren. His wife, Emma, and a son preceded him in death.
    Friends may call at Mock Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Dr. Henry Evans officiating. Burial will be in New Concord Cemetery.

    A native of the White Cottage community, she was born Feb. 28, 1884, a daughter of R.G. and Nancy Glasgow Thompson.
    She was a graduate of Columbia University and taught school in the East for many years as well as in her home community.
    Miss Thompson was a member of Reformed Presbyterian Church at White Cottage.
    She is survived by two sisters, Miss Mary of the home and Mrs. Armor Cusac of Frazeysburg, Route 1; a brother, Red of New Concord; and two nephews, Neill Thompson of White Cottage and Max Thompson of New Concord.
    Friends may call at William Thompson and Son Funeral Home at White Cottage after 2 p.m. today.
    Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. H. Lawrence McDaniel and the Rev. Wayne Harman officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Union Cemetery at White Cottage.

    She was born Oct. 15, 1888, near White Cottage, a daughter of Robert G. and Nancy Jane Glasgow Thompson. Mrs. Cusac was a former schoolteacher in Newton Township and a member of the Dresden Presbyterian Church. Her husband Armor, died in October, 1971.
    Surviving are two nephews, Max Thompson of New Concord and Neill Thompson of Route 9; plus several great-nieces and great-nephews. Two children, Margaret and Robert, are deceased.
    Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the William Thompson and Son Funeral Home in White Cottage. Rev. Ralph Burns will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
