Morning Sun – Funeral services for Clark W. McKee, 64, of 215 Maple St., Burlington, former Morning Sun resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pierce Funeral Home. Dr. G.M. Robb will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Visitation will begin Thursday afternoon.
Mr. McKee was found dead on Maple street in Burlington early Tuesday morning.
A son of Jerome and Sarah Walkinshaw McKee, he was born Dec. 1, 1905. He was employed at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Burlington.
Survivors are four brothers, Elmer Glen and Hugh Alexander, both of Long Beach, Calif., and John Henry and James Raymond, both of Morning Sun; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. McKee died Wednesday afternoon at his home in Morning Sun.
Born Feb. 10, 1907 at Billings, Okla., he was a son of Jerome and Sarah Walkinshaw McKee. He married Zelma George March 12, 1937 at Burlington.
The couple had farmed near Morning Sun until retiring and moving into town in November of 1970.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Zelma McKee; two sons, John Henry Jr. of Hanahan, S.C., William of Frisco, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Wolf of Letts and Mrs. Mary Cross of Wapello; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Glenn and Hugh of Long Beach, Calif. and Raymond of Morning Sun.

Morning Sun - Funeral for Hugh A. McKee, 69, who died Thursday, April 10, at Burlington Medical Center, will be at 2:30 p.m. today, Morning Sun United Methodist church, Rev. Fred Harris; Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif. Pierce funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 2, 1910, at Billing, Okla, to Jerome Alexander and Sarah Margaret Walkinshaw McKee. He married Maxine Raney in Yuma, Ariz.; she died in 1969. On Nov. 24, 1972, he married Thelma Griffin at Morning Sun.

He was a retired postal employee, a veteran of World War ii, a member of the United Methodist church, the American Legion and AARP.

Surviving: The wife, at home; two sons, Hugh William, Long Beach, Calif.; and David Hugh, Port Angeles, Wash.; a stepson Hoyt Carter Griffin, Bolingbrook, Ill.; two brothers, Glenn, Long Beach, Calif.; and James R., Morning Sun; two granddaughters and two step-grandchildren.
