      June 12, 1920-May 2, 1991
      Woodburn – Wilbur C. Prideaux, 70, died Thursday at his home.
      He was born and raised in Hendley, Neb. He married Velam R. McCollam on Feb. 16, 1941. That same year they moved to Oregon and in 1973 they came to Woodburn. He was a welder in the metal fabrication industry.
      He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Woodburn Christian Church and the Elks Lodge.
      Survivors include his wife; daughters, Diana J. McBride of Hubbard and Linda K. Dickenson of Salem; sisters, Anna Henry of North Bonneville, Wash., and Velma Titch of Woodburn; and seven grandchildren.
      Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday in Cornwell mortuary. Private interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.
