Herman B. Alcorn
Liberty – Herman B. Alcorn, 67, R.R.2, died at his home Tuesday morning. The Union County Coroner’s Office is investigating.
He was born in Madison County and had lived in the area for 50 years. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Romalee Alcorn; four sons, Kenneth Alcorn and Herbert Alcorn, both of Liberty, James Alcorn of Eaton, Ohio, and Larry Alcorn of Richmond; and 12 grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Alcorn will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. James Singleton officiating. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Showalter-Blackwell, Baker-Fosdick Chapel and at 1 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
