A native of Kentucky, Mr. Roberts was an employee of Centerville High School, a former employee of Dayton Press, was a very loving husband, dad, and ‘papa. He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Roberts. Survivors include his wife, Opal; his mother, Bethel Roberts of Moraine; son and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Cindy Roberts of Moraine, James and Deanna Roberts of West Carrollton; grandchildren , Lenora, Beth and Brandon; brother and sisters-in-law, George and Helen Roberts of Moraine, Delbert and Mary Roberts, Doyle and Betty Roberts all of Miami Township, James and Connie Roberts of Wes Milton; special friends, Lester and Ina Collins of Moraine, Rev. Ed and Jean Pennington of Miami Township, Alice Coffman of Waynesville, C.D. and Margaret Parker of Moraine, Ted and Freda Roop of Beavercreek. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 :00 A.M. Tuesday from the Dryden Road Pentecostal Church with burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at eh Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton from 5 to 9 P.M. Monday. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nursing staff on 2south at Kettering Medical Cemetery for all their care and kindness.

Vernon, Ky.; grandchildren Jennie Gay, Sylvia Harlow & his husband Paul, Kenny Roberts & his wife Norma, Keith Roberts & his wife Barbara, Terry Roberts & his wife Colleen, Kim Schrader, Jerry Roberts & his wife Sharon, James Roberts & his wife Deanna, Chad Roberts, Jeff Roberts & his wife, Jenifer, Stacy Nemeth & her husband Tom, and Angie Furay & her husband Brent; 15 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Bethel was a homemaker and a member of the Moraine City Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday at Newcomer-Barclay Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Interment will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-8 Friday at the funeral home.

    Berea, Ky. June 26 (LNS) – Services for Mrs. Sarah Elisabeth Hundley, 78, wife of John A. Hundley of Morrill, who died Wednesday at the Berea College hospital, will be conducted at the Silver Creek Baptist church at 10 a.m. Friday by the Rev. George Kirby. Burial will be in the Berea cemetery.
    Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George Roberts, Mrs. W.M. Parrot and Mrs. Elijah Cole; four sons, John, Herman, Arnold and Lloyd Hundley; 34 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
    The body is at the Britton funeral home here.
