He is preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Mary Evelyn Higgs; sister, Remona Higgs; 3 brothers, John H., Jerry, and Damien Higgs. Joyce Clark

Funeral service will be 10AM Fri. 8/8/2014 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Fr. Freddie Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellow Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thurs. and 8:30AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
