Notes - Lois Ann Haddix, age 83, died Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home in Berea.
Lois was born in Berea, Kentucky to the late John A. McCollum, Sr. and Rossie Cahutta Bates McCollum. She was a retired teacher for the Madison County Board of Education for over 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Vergil Haddix; one son, John Roberts “Rob” Haddix; brother, John (Helen Lear) McCollum, Jr.; four sisters, Ruth Edna McCollum, Norma McCollum (Hubert) Robinson, Mary Elizabeth “Lib” McCollum, and Dorothy McCollum (John) Caldwell.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be John K. Caldwell, Bev Ingram, Dick McCollum, Steve McCollum, Barry Haddix, Steven Haddix, Vonda Bratcher, Eula Combs, Christine Harris, and Amanda Powell. Interment in the Berea Cemetery, Berea, Ky
