Notes - Bettye Sue Headley, 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Hemet Valley Medical Center. Born May 21, 1923, in Toledo, Ohio, she lived in Sun City for 20 years. She was a licensed vocational nurse for more than 25 years and retired in 1982 from Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospitals emergency room. She enjoyed traveling. , Mrs. Headley was preceded in death by her parents, William and Race McCollum Howard. She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Headley of Sim City; Sons; brother; sisters; eight grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory in Sun City. A graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area No. 4, with the Rev. Gary Enniss officiating. . Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory in Sun City is handling arrangements.
