    • Dolphie Ray Cole, 62, of West Manchester, Ohio and formerly of Lewisburg, died on Monday, February 20, 2017 in Greenville, Ohio. Dolphie was born on November 25, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Adolph "Rudy" and Ada Ruth (Begley) Cole.

      Dolphie was a 1972 graduate of Lanier High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired in 2010 from the Village of Lewisburg where he was a general laborer for 11 years.

      In addition to his parents, Dolphie is preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Deisher in 2006.

      Dolphie is survived by sister and dear friend, Tamara Lynn Cole and Mel Biederman; son, Tim Cole; grandson, Abel Cole; nieces and nephews.

      Full Military honors will be rendered by the Preble County Honor Guard at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg with the visitation immediately following until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg.
