    • Robert D. Ledford, 92 of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Robert was born July 5, 1927, in Garrard County, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, John S. and Leola Parsons Ledford, his wife of 57 years, Kathleen Botkin Ledford, a son, Robert D. Ledford, Jr., and a brother, J.W. Ledford.

      He is survived by his sons, Garry (Paula) Ledford of Grayson, KY and Lyle (Judy) Ledford of Minford, OH, four grandsons, Robert (Jenny) Ledford, III, of Pleasantville, OH, Joseph (Becky) Ledford of Grayson, KY, Levi Ledford of Grayson, KY, and John Ledford of Wheelersburg, OH, eleven great-grandchildren, and two special nieces, Gail Speakes and Elizabeth Abrams.

      Robert was retired from Piketon Uranium Enrichment Plant in Piketon, OH. He joined the Merchant Marines serving in World War II, and later joined the Army serving in the Korean War. He was an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman.
      Graveside services will be conducted, Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Manse Cemetery in Paint Lick, KY along with the burial there. Malone Funeral Home in Grayson is in charge of arrangements.
