Notes - BALL Homer D. Passed on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at age 92. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rosa Ball and his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy Ball. Homer is survived by a dear son, Raymond (Laurie) Ball and a cherished granddaughter, Emily Ball. He will be remembered by: sister-in-law Anna Ball; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of family, neighbors and friends.
Before becoming a barber, Homer served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Italy. He was awarded the Purple Heart and European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre medal and three Bronze Stars.
Raymond and the family wish to express deep gratitude to his father’s care givers, Nikki Hacker in Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as all the staff at the V.A. Hospital in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
