    • Born to Cleveland and Elizabeth (Hopkins) Wilmot at Chautauqua, Ohio. He was a switchman on the railroad at Armco Steel for 35 years retiring in 1979. Charles was involved in stock car racing at the old Middletown Speedway and in USAC with his son Bud. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brothers Benton and Gerald Wilmot; sister Versa Whitt and two grandsons Curtis and Michael Sexton. He is survived by his children Starlin (Cookie) Charles(Bud) and Steven Wilmot. Brothers James Cornett, grant, Earl and Frank Wilmot. Sisters Reva Hollenbaugh, Ruby Reiger, Donna Robey, Martha Gabbard, Dortha Marie Lunsford and Anna Belle Adams. [4, 5]
