Frances A. Long, 65, of Lexington, wife of Ralph F. Long, died Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Richmond, she was a daughter of the late Christopher and Pauline Willmont Lawson and owner of Frances Quality Dry Cleaners. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and a Sunday School teacher for over 20 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Larry W. Long and his wife, Mary Lou, Nicholasville, her daughter, Beverly A. Hatton and her husband, Charles S., Lexington, three grandchildren, Charles S. Hatton , Jr., and Heather N. Hatton, Lexington, and Christopher D. Long, Nicholasville; her brother, Robert Lawson, Lexington, and several nieces and nephews, Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral home by the Rev. John T. Wallace, Jr., and the Rev. Leon Greer. Burial in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be members of her Sunday School class. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today.
