      William V. “Buddy” Madden, 75, Lexington, husband of Corean Pedigo “Polly” Madden, died Saturday, September 29, 2001 at St. Joseph East Hospital. Born in Richmond, he was a son of the later Johnny and Minnie Lawson Madden. A veteran of the US Marines, he was a retired shipping clerk for Broughton’s and later with Hurst Office Supplies. Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Steven Vaughn (Roxene) Madden, Lexington; daughter, Patricia O’Conner, OR; two sisters, Francis Sagle and Evelyn Gorkins, Columbus, OH; brother, Johnny Madden, TN; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by Bro. Byron Jessup. Burial in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation 6-9 p.m. today.
      Lexington Herald-Leader, Lexington, Kentucky. Monday, 1 October 2001.
