- KIDWELL, Marvin L. age 77, of Germantown, OH, went home to be with the Lord, on January 1, 2014. He was born July 19, 1936, to the late Thomas Franklin and Della Mae (Phelps) Kidwell. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran; and attended Carpenter's House Baptist Church. Marvin retired from Inland Container in Middletown, OH in 1998 after 44 years of service; and served 10 years as a Germantown Volunteer Fireman.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clarence "Lefty" and Carrell Kidwell; sister-in-law, Sara Kidwell; and brother-in-laws, Woodrow Romans and David Bush. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce A. (Bush) Kidwell; his daughter, Deb (Mike) Newkirk of Liberty Twp; his son, Daniel Kidwell of Moraine; 3 grandchildren, Rochelle Flory of New York, NY, Beth Jahoda of St. Charles, IL and Bradley Newkirk of Columbus; 2 great-grandchildren, Ellen & David Jahoda; his sister, Frances Romans; his brothers, Gene "Butch" Kidwell and Gary (Linda) Kidwell; and sister-in-law, Judy Bush all of Germantown; numerous nieces and nephews; special adopted granddaughter, Jenna Stuckey-Trick; and his special grand-pups Bella & Baley.
Family and Friends may call at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, with Pastor Earl D. Wilcher officiating. Burial will be at Germantown Union Cemetery.
