      Booneville, KY - Wilburn Taft Wilson, 70, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the Berea Hospital in Berea, Kentucky. He was born July 6, 1934 at Sturgeon in Owsley County, Kentucky to Coda Belle Whicker Wilson and the late Herbert Taft Wilson. He was a self-employed mechanic, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Church of God.

      Along with his mother, he is survived by two sons, Jeffery Wilson of Green Hall, Kentucky and Roger Wilson of Booneville, Kentucky; a daughter, Deana (& Gary) McIntosh of Booneville, Kentucky; a brother, Eddie Darrell Wilson of Tyner, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of friends and relatives. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randell Wilson.

      Funeral services on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at the Booneville Funeral Home, with Brother John Brunelle officiating. Visitation Tuesday evening, at the funeral home, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Burial in the Wilson Cemetery, on Sturgeon, with the Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
