    • William Tankersley
      Salix, Iowa – William Tankersley, 66, of Salix died Thursday at an Onawa hospital of long illness.
      His body has been donated to Iowa City Hospital.
      Mr. Tankersley was born April 3, 1911, at Clayleo, Ky. He married Marjorie Goernd Sept. 14, 1963, at Minnesota Lake, Minn. He worked for 29 years at the Delco plant in Dayton, Ohio, before moving to Salix in 1964.
      Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Mac (Carol) Graham of Dayton; two brothers, Frank of Silver Springs, Fla., and Ken of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Feral Dragon of Baca Raton, Fla., and a granddaughter.
