- Carol Ann Obermeier
Let us celebrate the Lord, as our mom, Carol Ann Obermeier, answered His Call on Tuesday November 10th.
Born March 5th, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James; her parents, Frank and June Mockler; her brother, Bill Mockler, and her sister, Joyce Fasilis.
As an active member of St. Francis de Sales parish, she left a legacy of love and caring that touched the hearts of all those who knew here, in the last few years at home at Chapel Hill community, she was a servant of god holding a weekly rosary ministry and assisting whenever in need.
Carol set at example for her family as a model mother and homemaker. She was a glorious example of christ’s love and left a strong foundation of faith in her daughters, Pam Obermeier Schott (Steve), Michelle Obermeier Wilson (John); and sons, Don (Barbara), and Keith (Jeanne); grandchildren, Matt, Coleen, Gretchen, Megan, Rebecca, Beth, Katie, Emilio, Manny and Olivia; and sister, Jan Shafer. Carol also leaves behind so many close friends and extended family, all who will miss her dearly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov 14th at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with inurnment to be scheduled at a later date. Calling hours will be at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Rt 619) Friday, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 am.m until 10:30 a.m. All are invited to join us in praying the rosary Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Francis de Sale Parish or the Chapel Hill Retirement Community.
