    • Note on Find a Grave:
      William R. Murray was born in 1860 in Wythe County, Virginia. He was a brick mason. He married Mary Emaline "Bly" Hash in 1889, and they had 3 children. William died in 1919 in Galax, Grayson County, Virginia. His burial location in Galax City Cemetery is probably unmarked. A 2007 survey of the cemetery did record two other Murray individuals, but not William R. Murray.
