Transcribed from Madison County, Kentucky Will Book Vol. A Page 227
In the name of God aman (amen), I William Hamilton of the County of Madison and State of Kentucky in perfect sense and memory of mind do make this my last will and Testament. First of all I commit my soul to almighty God and as for what world goods it hath pleased God to bestow on me in this world, I do distribute them in the following manner to wit, I do give and bequeath unto my son Patrick Hamilton Ten shillings current money to him and his heirs forever, all the residue of my estate both rail (real) and personal after the payment of my lawful debts I desire to be equally divided among the rest of my children, to wit, Mary, Isabellah, Easter and Ealiner (Eleanor/Ellender) to them, their and hair (and their heirs) forever. I do hereby constitute and appoint William Tincher, William Hamilton Tincher and Samuel Tincher Executors of this my last will and Testament and I do hereby revoke all former wills and do declare this to be my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of June in the year 1800.

At a Court held for Madison County on Monday the 3rd day of August 1801.
This will was proved to be last will and Testament of Wm (William) Hamilton Deceased by the oath of John Campbell and George Tincher whereas hereto and ordered to be recorded.
