Notes - Moyers, Mrs. Leah A. - Funeral services for Mrs. Leah A. Moyers, 80, 420 Daniels, who passed away Tuesday, will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church, Orlando, with Dr. William Mayfield officiating, assisted by Mr. Ronald Whitaker. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Mrs. Moyers was Born March 15, 1894 in Clay County, Ky., and had been a resident here since 1939. She was a charter member of the First Christian Church and a member of the Loyal Workers Bible Class. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Merrill Davis, Mrs. Kenneth Arnett, Miss Leah Catherine Moyers, Mrs. George Metz, Mrs. John H. Laincz, all of Orlando, Mrs. Otis Dickinson, Cocoa Beach, Fla., Mrs. Wallace L. Hopper, Cocoa, Fla.; a brother, Sherman M. Robinson, and a sister, Mrs. Dora Smith, both of Berea, Ky.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be A.B. Joiner, Frank Savior, J.K. Whitaker, Eugene Henderson, George Alexander and Howard Richards. Honorary pallbearers will be Stueard Clapp, R.W. Rhodes, J. Jones, Sr., John Green, Sydney Hayden, Bert Anderson, G.S. Bethea, Everett Johnson, Mack Lewis, Wayne Trivett and Virgil Thompson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the W. Guy Black Home for Funerals.
