ELIZABETH STURGILL and her first husband, Nathan Weaver, made their home on a farm on the south fork of New River currently known as the Jenkins Farm.
After the death of Nathan about 1824 she married a second time to Daniel Stidham and they continued to live on the same farm.
About 1837 Elizabeth married a third time to Daniel Jones (his second wife) and moved to Laurel Springs after selling the New River farm to her brother-in-law William Weaver Jr. She is buried in the Jones family cemetery in Alleghany Co. NC near Laurel Springs. pg 60
