[2] - Mrs. Isabella Bullock, of Tyner, Ky., mother of your correspondent, who would have been ninety years old next November, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G.W. Moore, on the 6th inst. of extreme old age. She was born in Owsley county near where Booneville now stands. Her father, Rev. Thomas Bowman, was one of the pioneer settlers of Owsley county, and her mother was a Moore, also one of the early settlers of the county, the descendants of whose families make up the greater part of the citizenship of Owsley county. There still lives eight of the old Bowmans and Moores, aged from 85 to 98 years, that are cousins and double cousins, which is more than can be said of most any other family of people now living.
