- Note on Find a Grave:
Sid was son of Martin Mann & Mary Jane Hall. He first married Martha Moore and known children were Bertha, Lillian, Enoch, & Warren. His second wife was Maggie Couch and their known children were Estille, Mattie & Johnie. There was also a daughter nicknamed Reddy who died abt 1916. It is not clear who her mother was. Sid died before 1923 when Maggie remarried as a widow. He last appears in the 1920 Lee Co. KY census.

Grave location verified by Robert, grandson of Sid. About 2012 Robert set the steel rebar beside the stone as his mother had previously shown him with certainty where Sid's grave was. What little engraving remains is illegible.

- Note on Find a Grave for Sidney's second wife, Maggie Couch:
Daughter of: Harvy Couch & Patsy Ann Gilbert.
Maggie first married Sidney 'Sid' Mann 1904. Sid died abt. 1922. He is buried in a family plot at old home place near Beattyville, KY. They had three known children: Mattie, Estille & Johnie.
Maggie's second husband was Henry Brandenburg, married 1923.
Burial information from death certificate in addition to a living grandson who helped dig his grandma's grave. They planted two pine trees each side of grave which have now grown large.
